After many years, the Bayou State Periodical Index has assumed a fresh look and has undergone a behind-the-scenes cleanup which should bring it closer to modern standards of accessibily and ease-of-use.

Jean Kiesel has stepped down as Editor of the Bayou State Periodical Index. Heather Plaisance, Head of Reference & Research Services, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, will be the new Editor. We wish Jean a happy and fruitful retirement.
